Terms of Use

These terms are the rules for using Furry Fun Box at https://furryfunbox.com/. The service is offered by the operator of furryfunbox.com. “You” means the person using the site.

Agreement and age

Furry Fun Box is for adults only. You may not use it if you are under 18.

The age gate is the agreement. By tapping I am 18 or older you represent that you are at least 18, and you agree to these Terms of Use and the Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, leave. Do not enter the lounge.

Zero tolerance

The following are forbidden, with no exceptions:

• Anyone under 18 using the service, appearing on camera, or being discussed in a sexual way.
• Child sexual abuse material, or any sexual content involving a person under 18.
• Recording, screenshotting, or sharing anyone without their consent.
• Harassment, threats, hate, or other illegal activity.

If you suspect that someone in a box is under 18, leave immediately. Do not keep watching, do not record them, and do not continue the conversation. You are responsible for complying with any duty you have to report criminal activity to the authorities where you are.

The operator does not watch the live video or audio inside boxes. There is no moderation desk and no account to suspend. The operator may still refuse access, rate-limit, or shut the service down.

You are responsible for what you do

You are solely responsible for your own conduct, words, display name, chat, and video. The operator is not responsible for what other people say, show, or do.

You may see or hear adult material. You enter at your own risk. Leave any box that you do not want to be in.

Do not record, screenshot, photograph, or share anyone without their consent. Other people in the same box can see your display name and chat. If you share a camera or microphone, they can see and hear you. Joining chat only does not turn your camera on, but you still take a seat, and other people can tell you are there.

A private box name is not a security guarantee. Private boxes are not listed, but anyone who knows or guesses the name can join. Do not treat a private box as confidential, encrypted against the other people in it, or limited to people you invited.

How the lounge works

There are no accounts. You choose a display name, then join a public room or a private box with a camera or chat only. The camera and microphone are requested only if you choose to join with a camera, and only after you enter that box, not at the age gate. Chat only does not request them. Either way, you take a seat: up to 20 in a public room, and up to 6 in a private box.

Video and audio go directly between the people in a box (peer-to-peer). This site does not record or store that video or audio.

Signalling — joining, leaving, chat, and the messages browsers use to set up a connection — is ephemeral. It is discarded shortly after people leave. Presence in a box lapses about 25 seconds after a person stops being seen. Chat messages lapse after about 60 seconds. When a box is empty, its signalling file is removed.

Three public rooms are listed by name, with a rough headcount: The Lounge, The Velvet Room, and After Dark. Each public room caps at 20 people. The landing page asks the server for those headcounts about every 4 seconds while it is open. That count is only a rough guide. It does not list private boxes.

Any other box name is a private box. Private boxes are unlisted and cap at 6 people.

A connection can fail. Browsers, networks, and firewalls often block a direct video path. The site does not provide a relay server. If the connection fails, the operator has not promised that it will work.

The service is provided as is

Furry Fun Box is provided “as is” and “as available”. The operator gives no warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any warranty of availability, fitness for a particular purpose, quiet enjoyment, or that video, audio, or chat will connect or keep working.

The operator may refuse access, change the service, or discontinue it, at any time, without notice. Features, room caps, and these terms may change. The date at the top of this page is the version then in effect. If you keep using the service after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, the operator of furryfunbox.com is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss, or for lost data, lost profits, or harm arising out of:

• your use of the service, or your inability to use it;
• what another person says, shows, records, or does;
• a failed, delayed, or intercepted peer-to-peer connection;
• the service being changed, interrupted, or stopped.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the fullest extent the law allows. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.

Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold harmless the operator of furryfunbox.com against claims, damages, losses, and reasonable costs arising out of your use of the service, your content, your conduct, or your breach of these terms. That includes claims that you recorded or shared someone without consent, allowed or involved a minor, harassed someone, or otherwise broke the law.

Laws that apply to you

These terms do not name a country or a court. The site does not state a place of business, and these terms do not invent one. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you where you are. Any mandatory right that the law does not let you waive still applies.
